Academics

ITT Technical Institute-Bothell offers associate of applied science degrees in Computer and Electronics Technology, Computer Drafting and Design, Criminal Justice, Visual Communications (New course) and Information Technology, and the school also offers bachelor of science degrees in Business Administration, Construction Management (New course), Criminal Justice, Digital Entertainment and Game Design, Electronics and Communications Engineering Technology, Information Systems Security, Project Management and Technical Project Management.

ITT Technical Institute-Bothell is accredited to award these degrees by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools, and some of its programs are approved by the Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board’s State Approving Agency (WTECB/SAA) for enrollment of those eligible to receive benefits under Title 38 and Title 10, USC.

ITT Technical Institute-Bothell is also a member with the American Electronics Association, Career College Association, Everett Chamber of Commerce, Northwest Career Colleges Federation, Puget Sound Alliance for Community Technology, Snohomish County Economic Development Council, South Snohomish Chamber of Commerce, Washington Financial Aid Association and Western Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators.

Admissions

ITT Technical Institute-Bothell has a four-quarter academic year: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.

Applicants for admission must be at least 16 years old, have a high school diploma, or equivalent (GED), and in some cases may be required to complete an entrance exam or individual interview with an admissions official.

Financial Aid

The ITT Technical Institute-Bothell financial aid office offers student assistance in obtaining federal and state grants and loans. Limited institutional scholarship programs are also available, including the Daniel P. Weadock Military Scholarship, the ITT Technical Institute High School Scholarship, ITT Technical Institute Super Achiever Scholarship, ITT Technical Institute Women in Technology Scholarship, FIRST/ITT Technical Institute Scholarship and the President’s Scholarship. A non-institutional scholarship, called the Champagne Scholarship, awards four $3,000 scholarships to help working adults with their higher education goals.

Students

Originally opened in September 1993 in Bothell, Washington, ITT Technical Institute-Bothell moved to its current location in Everett, Washington, in October 2005.

Average classroom size varies by subject, but typically classes for associate of applied science degrees range from 20 to 40 students; classes for bachelor of applied science degrees range from 15 to 30 students.

The campus itself covers about 20,500 square feet and is in the Everett Technical Park I facility, situated about two blocks east of the Boeing 747 facility, and offers close access to I-5 and SR-526.

ITT Technical Institute-Bothell does not operate any on- or off-campus housing, but it does offer a listing of housing accommodations near the school’s vicinity.

ITT Technical Institute-Bothell strongly encourages school-sanctioned student activities at its campus, all of which help develop a student’s individual initiative, group leadership and cooperation.

Students can also take advantage of ITT Technical Institute-Bothell’s free Learning Resource Center, where they have full access to the equipment and instructional materials used for every class on campus 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
